What is COPA?

COPA is a trade association. We’re composed of behavioral health and substance use care providers across the state of Colorado.

We envision a state where all persons with substance use disorders & related behavioral health needs have full access & equity to care, provided with dignity and respect, free from stigma & public policy that supports the full continuum including prevention, treatment, & recovery.

We focus on three key areas: Providers, Policy and Workforce Development

Providers

Our Members

COPA is made up of a wealth of experience and knowledge that spans the continuum, such as prevention, harm reduction, treatment and recovery.

Our Programs

We support our members through opportunities to work together, such as with workgroups in their areas of expertise, or through networking events.

Policy Priorities

Legislative Scorecard

Our top priorities are to protect Colorado’s behavioral health system from destabilizing cuts, preserve the Safety Net Providers, community-based organizations, and rural and frontier providers who anchor access statewide, and ensure the behavioral health workforce can continue delivering critical care to all Coloradans.
