Application Fees and Duplicate Accounts

All application, examination, renewal, and other certification fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Applicants are responsible for ensuring they are using their existing Certemy account before submitting an application or payment.

If an applicant is unable to access an existing account, they should contact the Credential Team for assistance prior to creating a new account or submitting additional fees. Fees paid for duplicate accounts or duplicate applications will not be refunded.

The first and last name on your application must match the name on your government ID. This name will be used to register you for the IC&RC exam. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure the name on the application matches their ID and is updated as necessary. If you are pre-registered for the exam under an incorrect name you may experience delays or additional fees.

Scholarships

The Colorado Providers Association (COPA) is pleased to offer the CPFS Application Fee Scholarship and is grateful for the partnerships and funding that make this opportunity possible. Through the support of our partners, this scholarship helps reduce financial barriers for individuals pursuing the Colorado Certified Peer and Family Specialist (CPFS) credential.

The scholarship covers the $245 initial CPFS application fee for eligible applicants. To be considered, your CPFS application in Certemy must be complete, with the exception of the application fee, CPFS Committee review, and examination. Scholarship funding is limited and awarded based on eligibility and available funding.
