The Colorado Providers Association (COPA) is a professional trade association representing clinical and non-clinical prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery service providers. Formed in 1994, our mission is to advocate, strengthen, and elevate the voice of Colorado’s network of prevention, treatment, and recovery providers to improve statewide, equitable access to care and outcomes for people with substance use disorders and related behavioral health care needs.
Our team comes from all over the state, with expertise across the continuum of care.
We are dedicated to providing the best quality of service to our members, the state of Colorado, and our industry as a whole.
The Executive Committee provides leadership, direction, and vision – serving as the governing arm of COPA.
We represents organizations throughout Colorado, reflecting a diverse body of providers working in substance use prevention, intervention, treatment, harm reduction, and recovery.
Colorado Artists in Recovery is a young organization, and it has been such a wonderful experience getting to be part of COPA. We have learned so much about how legislation works and how we can benefit from making our voice heard. Working with Breeah, Jacob, and Sydney has given us the exposure we need to grow in the recovery community. They have introduced us to other organizations, giving us the collaborative opportunities we need to grow our mission. But the best part about COPA is their commitment to showing up to our events, and giving us their time and attention. This personal attention, and team mentality, is the reason we love COPA!
