About Our Communications...

Earlier this year, COPA standardized both the CPFS and CCPS applications in Certemy. Over time, multiple versions of the application had been active in the system, which led to inconsistencies in review processes and some applicants unintentionally missing required steps. To ensure fairness, clarity, and consistency across the credentialing process, all applicants were transitioned to the updated application format.

Multiple communications were sent out to applicants and the general public about this update, including the deadline to complete older versions of the application by September 1, 2025.

Please rest assured that your previously uploaded materials were not lost. Training certificates, receipts, and other documents are securely stored in your Certemy Digital Wallet and can be re-attached to your new application. If you have difficulty locating anything, we are happy to assist.

We appreciate your patience during this transition. Our goal is to support every applicant while maintaining a credentialing process that is transparent, equitable, and aligned with statewide workforce standards.

We recommend taking the time to verify your contact information is correct in Certemy. We also publish notices on our website and socials – please bookmark us so you don’t miss important announcements.

  1. It shows I need 16 more hours to complete for CPFS (I’ve already completed 48 hours of 60 through Advocates For Recovery). Could you please inform me exactly what is needed for this?
