DESCRIPTION:The CAM Academy provides training and technical assistance on
  comprehensive trauma responsive substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. G
 uided by our principles of dignity and equity\, community collaboration\, 
 passion\, and professionalism\, as well as our commitment to prevention\, 
 treatment\, research\, and education we are dedicated with empowering you 
 with the knowledge and tools needed to make a lasting impact.\n\nThis thre
 e-hour virtual workshop will increase knowledge and skills to deliver comp
 assionate and effective care that acknowledges and addresses the impact of
  trauma. It provides tools to create trauma-responsive environments to pro
 mote healing in individuals who have experienced trauma.\n\nLearning Objec
 tives:\n1. Describe trauma and how protective factors can mitigate the imp
 act of trauma.\n2. Discuss the impact an elevated stress response can have
  on our bodies.\n3. Discuss how racism and weathering impact health dispar
 ities in people of color.\n4. Identify three techniques to provide a traum
 a responsive care environment.\n\n\n\nLength of Time: 3-Hours\n\nFormat: I

  Education: 2.80 hours of CNE and CME is offered.\n\nCost: $150 (waived fo
