 dence-based and is integral in counseling to initiate movement toward beha
 vior change. Peer recovery support workers and peer coaches utilize motiva
 tional interviewing and conversation in alignment with their role of reduc
 ing power differentials. Our course offers foundational learning to implem
 ent these powerful skills.\nObjectives:\n\nLearn the spirit of motivationa
 l conversation.\nImplement concepts of active listening.\nIdentify ambival
 ence.\nLearn the fundamentals of Open-Ended Questions\, Affirmations\, Ref
