DESCRIPTION:Course Description: This presentation will educate non-clinical
  workers on the risk of HIV/AIDS\, Hepatitis B\, and Hepatitis C with subs
 tance users. Harm reduction and protective factors will be discussed. Part
 icipants will learn about new methods of treatments\, area resources\, and
  how to converse with clients around knowing their status. Objectives: Lea
 rn about HIV/AIDS\, Hepatitis C\, and Hepatitis B.\; Learn risk factors an
 d protective factors.\; Understand and articulate the importance of everyo
 ne knowing their baseline status. Increase knowledge of symptoms and treat
 ments for HIV/AIDS\, Hepatitis B\, and Hepatitis C. \; Gain an understandi
 ng of harm reduction and practice engaging in a conversation around it.\; 
 Understand your role as a recovery coach or recovery support specialist.
