 nPeople who have faced jail time\, incarceration\, or any involvement with
 in these\nsettings have multiple barriers to overcome\, so why not provide
  recovery coaches who can assist in\nnavigating those barriers while provi
 ding support in their recovery journey? There is no better setting to\nser
 ve as a recovery coach. Many of our coaches know these systems well. The b
 est resources for\nnavigating these systems are people who have used them.
  This is where our lived experiences will serve\nus two-fold. Not only do 
 we get to share what we know\, we get to share who we are in recovery. Our
 \ngoal is to prepare you for working within any of these settings. This ed
 ucational program is approved by\nNAADAC #195293.\nObjectives (appears on 
 the evaluation form):\n• Understand the different justice settings where
  recovery coaches can serve.\n• Learn about the barriers and resources p
 eople in these settings can face.\n• Explore the ethical considerations 
 of serving in these systems.\n• Explore how culture and stigma can affec
 t people involved within this system and people\naffected by incarceration
 .\n• Know how to serve in the capacity of your expertise by staying in y
 our lane.\n• Demonstrate how to utilize the skills of a recovery coach t
 o support those within justice\nsettings.
