The Colorado Providers Association held its 2015 Annual Meeting on June 18 and 19 at the Mt. Vernon Country Club in Golden, Colorado. Speakers covered many critical issues for providers including the integration of primary care and behavioral health services, the SIM grant, parity for substance use disorder services and state and federal policy developments. The second day of the conference focused on substance use disorder prevention. The “Professionalizing Prevention” conference covered key issues significant for Colorado’s prevention professionals and provided important information for individuals who currently hold the Colorado Certified Prevention Specialist II credential or are interested in applying.
